Where to Go

Looking for words of advice from someone who has had the same experience as you? Send an email to Sandy at parent@ldabc.ca! More about Sandy:

Hi there! I’m a proud parent of two grown sons with learning differences. They are both now in university, and the journey to get them there was quite the experience. I didn’t have the knowledge of or access to the many resources that are in place now for families in BC. I volunteered with LDABC to become a ‘parent resource/mentor’ and offered to share some of what I learned over the years with other families that may be ‘new’ to this experience. I’m not a professional in the field, but if you would like a parent’s perspective on an issue that you’re struggling with, perhaps I’ve already ‘been there’ and my experience can help get you through the maze.
